James Well & Rogues Point is a small coastal community situated on Yorke Peninsula 160 kms from Adelaide. The town is west on the coastline facing east across Gulf of St Vincent. It has a pristine land and sea environment. The holiday settlement is made up of 250 allotments, the majority of these allotmets have houses built on them.
The holiday setlement has no commercial development and there are no retail outlets. Ardossan is the main service centre for the town. It is located approximately 8 kilometres north and has a reasonable range of retail outlets, banking facilities, post office, hospital, golfing facilities, bowling, tennis courts, public library, school, netball and basketball courts.
The James Well & Rogues Point Progress Association is very active and has been heavily involved in developing community infrastructure since its inception in 1973.
